FERRARI
DAYS 2008 |
Be a F1 Pilot! Have you got 2000 Euros? They will make you a Hamilton! |
Do you envy to Hamilton or Alonso when sitting infront of your TV? needlessly. You don’t have to be unhappy, you can challenge your idols in the same racing car.
You can feel the acceleration from 0 to 200km/h in 5 seconds and feel the speed of 260km/h.
High concetration, thrill, acurate coordination of team members was lingering in the air of paddocks. |
Like on the Greyhound Racing Track Praskačka we gain information about the behaviour of the racers on every meter of the track from monitors, also here they gain information about the Ferrari racing cars on the track from monitors. |
650 horses are at your disposition, weight 600kg. From the stand-still you are at 200km/h in 5 seconds but the deceleration power is even more impressive. Carbon shoes must be heateded up - they simply don’t work under 650 degrees. As long as they have the proper temperature they can stop the car at speed of 300km/h on mere 100m in mere 4 seconds. At 4,8Gs your brain seems to be mixed. | ||
As early as the starting the engine is difficult. In case of "under-the-steering-wheel-paddle-shifting" you must use the gofer which is 4-frictioned for better hardness. Declutching must be continuous milimeter after milimeter or the huge power of the engine will throw you bit forward but at low revolutions it conks out. |
Be aware when the cars are leaving boxes - photographers and cameramen must leave the area. What if a the engine would throw the pilot and the vehicle bit forward. Anyhow - everyone stares. |
The engine power is breath-taking, smell-taking, ear-taking |
Have you decided to try the F1 car? |
Experiences, which cloy you, cannot be compared with anything else.
The acceleration is breath-taking, only small tickling of throttle pedal shortens all distances fastr than eyewink.
If you are not alerady blind by the sum that you
have to pay for these experiences, you won´t even go blind by the sun berfore your start. |
Push down the full throtle and at the finishing straight
which is only 200m long you accelerate from 60km/h to 260km/h.
Powerful braking, gearing down, heading of the front of the car to apex (the summit of curve) gradual acceleration ant then
again pure absolute extasy.
While you got over succesfully all of it you can say - my colleague Schumi. |
