1.
General:
- Only events organized by the Czech Greyhound Racing Federation
are assessed
- Only greyhound breed and from 2007 also whippet breed are
assessed
- The place in races for the following distances is assessed:
a) 300 m
b) 525 m
c) 740 m
by means of awarding points – for the relevant rules see hereunder.
- For greyhounds which alternate the above-mentioned distances,
the same procedure will be followed (awarding points) – for the relevant
rules see hereunder.
2.
Categories:
2.1.
Races
2.1.1. The particular runners collect points during the whole
racing season.
2.1.2. Should be the score equal, the times of the greyhound at
the distance concerned will be decisive.
2.1.3. Conditions:
a) at a fully occupied race:
- for the 1st place, 6 points are awarded
- for the 2nd place, 5 points are awarded
- for the 3rd place, 4 points are awarded
- etc.
b)
at a race in which 5 runners take place:
- for the 1st place, 5 points are awarded
- for the 2nd place, 4 points are awarded
- for the 3rd place, 3 points are awarded
- etc.
c) at a race in which 4 runners take place:
- for the 1st place, 4 points are awarded
- for the 2nd place, 3 points are awarded
- for the 3rd place, 2 points are awarded
- etc.
at a
race in which 3 runners take place:
- for the 1st place, 3 points are awarded
- for the 2nd place, 2 points are awarded
- for the 3rd place, 1 points are awarded
e) If
the number of runners in a race less than 3, the race will be
not assessed
f)
Six best final times are awarded in the Solo, Dual, Trial racing.
2.1.4. To the winners of the racing category, following title is
awarded:
a) for the distance of 300 m: 1st place - Golden Greyhound –
Winner for the track of 300 m
b) for the distance of 525 m: 1st place - Golden Greyhound –
Winner for the track of 525 m c) for the distance of 740 m: 1st
place – Golden Greyhound – Winner for the track of 740 m
d) for all distances: 1st place – Golden Greyhound – Winner for the
tracks of 300 m, 525 m, 740 m
For the double victory at one distance, the title “Track master” will be
awarded.
For the triple victory at one distance, the title “Track Grandmaster” will
be awarded
2.2.
Exhibitions – Design
2.1. Works of art made by the Nature are assessed by artists by means
of awarding points and by the
audience
by means of voting
2.2. the panel of judges composed of artists evaluates dogs in
following categories:
- young male and female dogs – up to two years incl.
- active male and female dogs – from 2 up to 5 years
- veterans of male and female dogs – from 5 years without any
limitation
2.3. The audience assess the dogs by means of voting in following
category:

and female dog of any greyhound – see par. 2.2.
2.4. To the winners of the exhibition category, following title is
awarded:
a) Golden Greyhound – TOP Design – Sir Greyhound
b) Golden Greyhound – TOP Design – Lady Greyhound
c) Golden Greyhound – TOP Design –
Golden Puppy Greyhound
d) Golden Greyhound – TOP Design –
Golden Senior Greyhound
e) Golden Greyhound – TOP Design – Audience prize
For the double victory in the categories Sir and Lady , the title “Master
Top Design” will be awarded.
For the triple victory in the categories Sir and Lady, the title
“Grandmaster Top Design” will be awarded
3.
Record of achieved titles and presentation of awards
3.1.1. Achieved titles are recorded in the Racing Books - ÈGDF
Licences by means of a
special stamp
3.1.2. The title is connected with a prize in the form of a
statuette of the “Golden Greyhound”
3.1.3. Presentation of the exhibition award is carried out
immediately at the end of the exhibition
day.
3.1.4. Presentation of the racing award is carried out after
termination and evaluation of the
racing season.
3.1.5. During the festive presentation of the racing award, it
is possible to give formally the
exhibition prize once more.
